its been really long time...

haven post up my pictures from taiwan trip and Macau trip. Didnt even edit yet.haiz...

currently things aint going smoothly. Dad's in hospital right now. Hopefully the doctor can quickly resolve his problem.

Sunday was bad. Felt angry about some stuff. ran away from home for 3 nights...i felt so relieved those days without any restrictions.how i wished it was forever...

sitting in the office feeling damn pissed off. and i meant DAMN PISSED! WTF. i came back office and reaslised my locker has shifted WITHOUT being informned. I opened up the damn bloody cupboard and found it's empty. What is this?

Shifted my stuff without telling me? Shifted the place without letting me know? feel like breaking up the damn cupboard and see.thanks to the WondErfool womaN. Is she stupid or what?

hope the shares bring me luck today...

i am so looking forward to the paintball session this saturday. Hopefully i would be able to slot in. Excited as it's my first time and also,it's been a long time i met up with old friends...

Went to my first yoga session on monday. hohoho...alot of movements and positions i cant get it...i must have looked stupid. but i did my best...It felt great after the whole session.

some people just doesnt seem to wake up their bloody idea. It's time they grow up and not rely on people anymore. I am sure it's just bloody plain fucking excuse -and that is LAZINESS.I just can't believe it....They take things for granted.and best of all its NATO. well, i guess they think it's ok to do so. but good luck to them to their future. hur hur... i wonder what lies ahead of them.i would be once be firm and not give in. yup that will be it.

gotta be more focus and not let external factors affect me.I CAN DO IT!!! off to gym!

Yesterday i was irritated by Haosong who came SMSing my old mobile number saying like this. "Hi,if you do not want to lend me money,can you don't go around telling ppl that i am borrowing money? Thanks. " WTF??? somemore he use unknown number. straight away i knew it was him...

Kept thinking over it and got pissed off. So i went to MSN and shoot him...

somethings i just couldn't understand....it ain't anyone's fault. it's a matter of understanding and also a matter of each and individual character.

Often i think to myself why i could be so stubborn at times. And also why i could be so heartless. Now what i really feel is, i think money can do wonders. Should really start saving more...treat myself to a better life. Or even go overseas and never to come back again.

I've never really totally forgive or rather open up the knot to what you said to me few years ago.
Indeed,i did complete my tertiary education. But i think you had a big part to play for almost stopping my education. Not that i enjoyed studying, but given a choice at that time,i would still wanna further.But you never ever ask.

Putting my name into this house was also by no choice. You've never thought of the consequences of my later stage. At age 21, i am already stuck with a big loan on hand.

You've never put me as priority. All you wanted was to go everything your way. Regardless of what i have in mind or planned.

Does it make a difference whether i am at home? I don't think so. Perhaps, i am just a chauffeur whom you need whenever you need to or when you could not find YOUR FRIEND. Yes i am ignorant to the household chores. I am ignorant to the contribution of the finance to the household. But tell me why should I?

WHy did i slugged myself to work during my poly time? juggling myself from morning til after midnight. Never said a single thing about it rite? Could still remember that few year's CNY. i even worked on the first day of CNY.

Many other things that are kept away from me. Yet i get to here a bit here and there once in a while. I tried ignoring it as i didn't wanna know the truth as wad is done is done.

Bangkok Day 5 - 4 June 2009

Our last day at Bangkok...we slept abit later.After doing our final packing,we check out and left the luggages with the conceirge. Head to Pratunam. and we made our way to this Hotel. forgot it's name. But it's the highest building here. 88th storey revolving rooftop.There's a mini golf area here...yes within the hotel on the 27th floor...

We decide to head back to Platinum Mall to do our final shopping. Back to Gusto again to get more stuff. we got the teddy bears here. so adorable...love it.took pictures with him/her lol...yea He's a lady or She's a man. pretty rite?

Head to Central World for our late lunch/early dinner.

We went for dessert at the Red Mango again before we head back to our hotel...check out the jam.

At the airport we had sandwiches and icecream before setting off back to singapore...

Had an enjoyable trip. Great shopping. Good companion. Thanks!

Bangkok Day 4 - 3 June 2009

Day 4- Rise and Shine at 6am...Another early day as we engaged Mr B to bring us around. First stop is to the floating market. It was quite a distance away...and on the way,we were stopped once again. Terrible police...Mr B had to pay a "bribe" for i think 200 baht. It may seem little amount of money to us, but it's a form of living to them. See the clip below...

They even give a receipt for it. Darn..

Mr B brought us to this place where the stalls are just next to the railway tracks. I've seen the show "shi jie na me da" that recommended this. It's so interesting. It's just so close to the tracks. And the owners would shift whenever the train approaches.

Finally reached the floating market...we were served a refreshing welcome coconut drink.

Off we go....We have the whole boat to ourself.

We stopped at this Coconut Sugar Farm. This is the place where they would use different parts of the tree to make sugar. In fact they main part they use to produce the sugar is the flower.

Off we go again....

Oh yes they accept Credit cards too...amazing....

Along the river as we were heading back, we saw .....

Our boatman was speeding...but we enjoyed the nice breeze against our face...

After the enjoyable time on the water, we head to the Cobra show nearby.

Went over to ROSE GARDEN for our lunch buffet.beautiful view from our table.

The buffet is considered cheap here -450 baht. and if u wanna watch the cultural show with it,i think gotta pay a bit more.

After lunch,we went around the place to take pictures. Basically this place's like a park with a resort. According to Mr B, it's a place where the officials would come and have meetings.

Next we headed to the zoo but the show times ain't matching to our schedule so we gave it a miss and went to Wat Po temple. It's the place where the big reclining buddha is. It's impressive...really big...

We each went for a round at the coin thingy where u place a coin in each "bowl".

The whole temple has lots of buildings with perhaps different statues.

After this,Mr B took us to a jewellery factory. It's where if we bought some things from there,he'll get some coupons. However we didn't get any stuff.We were too "broke" as it was towards our end of trip and nothing caught our eyes.I mean i rather give Mr B a bigger tip right?Head back to our hotel and washed up. Then we head to the Chao Phraya dinner cruise. It was a bad bad bad jam.And we dozed off in the mini van as we were tired from the day tour.

Finally we reached in time. Almost missed the cruise...

The food was delicious.ambience was nice...they have cultural dance to entertain us as well as the upper deck opened for us to dance and sing...

Guess we preferred to sit by our table and enjoy the scenic night view along the river...

Our day 3 itinary was to shop and shop and shop...i didn't expect to spend that much for this trip. Yet it's over my budget. Anyway,life's to enjoy rite? heck... After a good night rest and breakfast,we head to MBK. It's also a highlight of Bangkok as it's a huge mall. Interestingly, the stall owners there would give discounts to their first customer the day. And after they made the first deal, they would use the money to wave around the whole stall which symbolises good luck for the day.We were in fact first customers of quite a few stalls. =)While waiting for the alteration for Gerald's pants, we went for lunch at this Japanese fusion restaurant. SImilar to the Pasta de Waraku here.

And we continued our shopping spree...So tempted at the baskin robbins, we had a snack for our tea time. lolz...It's cheap there!!!Yes, we finished 2 sundaes there. waakaka

Headed back to our hotel to put our barang barangs...Not long after we head back to the tailor for Gerald's fitting. Guess what? we met the same taxi driver that picked us up on Day 1.We got a nice chat with him. His name is Mr Banturn (i think), anyway we named him Mr B. Since we were quite "destined" to meet each other, we decided to engaged him for Day 4 the whole day.He waited for us for the fitting before sending us to Chinatown.

We settled our dinner here. The seafood is VERY VERY CHEAP and GOOD!!!!

We had sharks fins, snails, fresh oysters,vegetables,tom yum soup,pork or chicken i can't remember. And a coconut...check out the oyster size!!!

SUperb dinner...walked around Chinatown. In fact nothing much there.

In no more than 30 minutes, we went for our birds nests. Tat's wad Chinatown is famous for! Birds nest and Sharks fins.....

We bought durian here...and head to PatPong night market. We didn't take anypictures there as it's not so "convenient". It's a place with pubs and those erotic a-go-go shows. In fact i felt like a piece of glass there. No one even notice my existence lor...just because i am a female. All the attention was on Gerald. haha...On our way back on the taxi,we were stopped by the police. Bribery in action. I feel for the driver...the police are corrupted to the point whereby they would pin point lame reason like inappropriate dressing. It's saddening la....Back in the hotel we had our durian.....=P

Bangkok Day 2- 1 June 2009

Woke up super early and head for our breakkie at the hotel. See our "stoned" face. coz it's only 6+ am...

As we head down to the conceirge,we were told that the best time to go to the fruit and flower market is between 2 am to 4 am.We were like too "late" for it. oh well, we head back to our room and "nua" til 9+ and set off to Siam area. Our itinary for the day is SHOPPING at Siam area and Platinum mall.

There's like Siam Discovery, Siam Centre and Siam Paragon. We went to the supermarket in Siam Paragon...it's HUGE! and check out the fruit section. First time i see durian with price tag! and it's not cheap lor...1900 baht for one durian. that's like SGD$83. and it's not those breed with strong durian smell kind like the "mao shan wang".

I wonder what he is looking at.....

We went on shopping around in the malls. Siam malls are big and is similar to our "Takashimaya" standards. They have like many restaurants and small cafes, boutiques, furniture shops, few concepts store etc. One of the book shelf attracted us...

Headed to Plainum Mall and shopped around. Stopped by this yoghurt store called RED MANGO. it's nice!( that's our lunch)

at about 5 we headed back to Siam Paragon for our dinner. This restaurant was recommended by Samuel...

We ordered fried mushroom and chicken wings as starters. The chicken wings is superb!!!!! We shared the Pat Thai and a cream base pasta. I love the cream base pasta... Overall rating is EXCELLENT! I would definitely visit this place the next time i go Bangkok.

After our lovely dinner, we head back to hotel and washed up. At 745pm, we set off to Asia hotel for the Calypso Cabaret Show. As we were early, Gerald popped into a tailor shop and decided to do his shirt,pants and suit. All tailored made...7 shirts,7pants,1 suit.- 16000 baht! considered cheap for tailored made. Bangkok Day 1 - 31st May 2009

Look at my luggage before i fly off to Bangkok! it's almost empty!

Woke up at 4+am and prepared my self. Thanks to my aunty,uncle and cousin for picking me up to the airport.

Yea i got the window seat. Flight's pretty empty. And it's the first time i take budget airline. At least Jetstar isn't as bad as i thought it would be...

Yes that's Gerald, my travel companion for this trip.It was a short 2 hour trip and we headed straight to our hotel-Novotel. After checking in,we headed straight to Chatuchak which is the weekend market. And they are behind Singapore time 1 hour so it's like we "gained" another hour...lolz. Had our lunch at Chatuchak.

It's amazing how these shops are laid out...small lanes linked to lanes again and again...didn't get much pics as we were both happily shopping!lolz...

In the late afternoon, we headed back to our hotel and rest. It's already abit tiring for our first hours there. hohoho....We bought lychees and mangoes back. Oh yes, stuff we bought were a knife(for cutting mangoes lolz), singlets, toilet roll holders (see picture below),essential oil,candle light holder,toys for Gerald's doggie... Things are super cheap there...

I like the way they present the toiletries in our hotel....nice.

After a short rest and bath, we head to Suan Lum Night Bazaar after heeding the introduction by the staff at Novotel. We booked a dinner cruise and the cabaret show thru them too.

We headed to this Puppet Theatre for our sumptuous dinner. Yum yum....

Tom Yum Kung,Pat Thai, Vegetables, Pineapple rice, stir fried Chicken.

After recharging ourselves with the sumptuous dinner, we kick start our shopping spree once again.The things sold at Suan Lum is pretty similar what we saw at Chatuchak. but at a higher price which we could still bargain.
Gerald got this BIG ball shaped bean bag, while i got a Red bean bag chair after a long bargaining session.Of course without the foam beads. As mine comes in new piece,i could get it straight away. But not for Gerald;s,which is already "pumped" up with the foam beads. So the staff had to get all out.

While they struggling, we took pictures...hahaha...

After shopping around til about 12+am i think...we headed back to our hotel.took a walk around our hotel area. There's like pubs and massages and restaurants around there. And our hotel is very near the Robinsons Mall.

In a few hours time, i will be on the coach heading to Genting...a short getaway with my family and cousin's family...

Past few days,i've been meeting up with friends. Friends that i had perhaps "lost" along the way. and i am glad that you all still love me for who i am... Thank you! In fact, i was given "treats" la...all dun wan me to pay...feeling guilty .... from Zi cha to Jade Crystal to Roti prata to Ichiban to Gelare to Mos burger. The food is great but the accompany is wonderful...

sometimes when u try hard,it just comes back...so i tried harder,and i realised- it didn't leave me at all.i wonder how long more...how long more to just not think about you. *feel like crying...

it seemed to some tat i "neglected" my blog...but then,it's not tat i am not blogging...jus tat i am lost for words...lotsa thoughts in my mind yet some things ain't to be mentioned. some feelings hard to describe. some thoughts just for myself....

well, some updates...went to watch SEASONS wif jianjia on 23 april.First time to a musical play.And i love it!
Some moments isn't made to last...

And as intuition told me,it happened. grandpa passed away on 24th april. my mum & I were just 3 minutes late...well at least as mentioned on my previous post,he didn't suffer much pain before he departed. Thanks to all the friends who came to the wake and contributed.

It's come to May once again. I hate Mays. it's always a sad month for me...the kind of pain which no one could understand.

I am redirecting my life..yes once again....I wanna be successful. I wanna do meaningful stuffs. I wanna travel around. Definition of success differs from one another. For me, it's no longer monetary primarily. But what i can do for others. I've fallen down times and again...so it's ok. What's more important is to stand up once again and walk through the journey to my dreams...it's a lonely journey but it's ok. It's alright.

Today's lesson : No point deceiving to ownself. Be honest to my feelings and follow my heart...

Just got back from TTSH. grandpa is admitted again...he was admitted on Good Friday and discharged on last monday. But today he was admitted and it's serious...For the very first time,he held my hand so tightly...and seeing the tears from his eyes made me felt "xin suan".haiz...On the pratical side,i doubt it will be a speedy recovery. I just hope God would be good enough not to let him suffer too much pain...

Watching "seasons-tian len jiu hui lai" this Thursday with JJ. looking forward to it....

Day 4 & 5

Sunday - 15th March 2009. We departed from Yilan to Taipei. Part of the troupe members went back to Singapore while the rest stayed on till 17th March.(except for me lolz). We reached Taipei at about 11am and i proceeded to Rainbow Hotel for the check-in. I have a day to myself as Stacey and Flora would only arrive on the next day.

After the check-in,i met up with the rest for lunch. Ah Zhong Mian Xian!!!!Simply delicious. I remembered the first time there was with them too in 2006. Back then we had 2-3 ppl sharing a bowl of it. But now,each of us held a bowl and slurp it down!

I explored around the area. Our hotel is right in the middle of XiMenDing. 2-3 mins walk to the MRT station. and prob about 5-10 mins walk to the Taipei Main Railway Station. At the Main Railway Station, there's alot of shops within the station as it is not only just a MRT station which stops around within Taipei. it is also the station for their HSR and TRA. It serves to the different cities and towns.
Below is the picture of the famous "hu jiao bing". it is very nice and the way they cooked it is interesting.it's one of the must try i would say.Located at Zhongxiao East or West road. anyway it's near the main railway station area.

The main railway station has about 11 exits if i am not wrong. One of the exits lead to the famous Xing Guang San Yue Shopping mall. It's like the Singapore Takashimaya.It is a department store actually but of a much bigger scale.It has 12 storeys!!!Didn't get anything there as most of the stuff could be seen in singapore too except for some brands. Xi MenDing and shin guang san yue is a popular place for celebrities and artistes to hold their autograph sessions. and yes,i saw Tang Yu Zhe.

After that i proceeded to Long Shan Shi. The MRT in Taipei is very convenient just like Singapore.It's easily accessible.

check out the "fire". Its quite a common sight. It happens when there's too many joss sticks but there's another saying that it gets fired up to get rid of the troubles and mishaps.

Followed by a night market around the area.Night markets are interesting places and is one of the must do thing if you are in taiwan.

The Hwahsi night market is well=known for their exotic snake food. People named it the snake street. And it used to be one of the red light districts too.

The following clip must see!!!Check out how the guy kill the snake. the blood that he got out from the snake is sold straight away FRESH!

Recommended by my friend to try this dessert store at Hwahsi. Having a hot dessert in a cold weather...yum yum...

Headed back to Ximending. As it is a weekend,it was crowded and there is a lot of street performances.From dancing to singing to performing arts.

Went back to hotel and rest. Very next morning,i woke up early and headed to "bi tan" . a more quiet and rural side of taipei.

At about 12 +pm i headed to the main railway station and picked up Stacey and Flora who arrived.After settling their luggage we had our first meal together.

Our itinery for that day was to Taipei 101,Wu Fen Pu, Raohe Night market.On our way to 101.

didnt get to take much pictures there as we were busy shopping! then we headed to Raohe...These areas are nearby. Planned this way to save our travelling time.

Taiwan Day 3 @ Yilan

Day 3. Rise and shine super early at about 5+ as we had to set off early to Yilan.

Goodbye Taichung!

We sang on the coach and after we checked in our hotel,we headed to Taiwan Theater Museum for the second performance. This time is only the actoress involved. The rest of us were delegated with other duties.

Upon reaching,lunch time! Yea we were well taken of in Taiwan.

After a quick lunch,they started preparing.This is in fact the first time i get to see them get ready from scratch. Its really interesting.

I was delegated to do videocaming and Ailian phototaking.

It was tiring doing the videoshooting!!!esp. my right arm...haha...but it was fun.After the "work",i finally took some shots with them.

I remember when i was young,my mum would bring me watch the Teochew Tan Chor Hwee Opera. As my mum knew her,i always get a chance to go backstage and i would always be in fear!i didn't like the costumes and such coz i found it scary. But after knowing Xiang people,it changed my thoughts.haha...

After undressing, we had an interaction session.Check out the spread they prepared!

Evening time, we headed back to our hotel.

As there is the Light Festival in Yilan,the locals encouraged us to go and take a look. So we waited at the lobby.

Apparently,it was really crowded and so, Ailian,Changmei and I decided not to go.Instead we headed to a nearby shopping mall which had Carrefour.

From the photos,you;ll probably knew how we enjoyed ourselves buying the noodles! Alrite,we 3 gals had problem carrying back to our hotel.but we still did it!

Taiwan Day 2- 13022009

Day 2 @ Taichung.Rise and shine at 7am. After washing up(and not changing), we headed to the cafe for breakfast.

After breakfast, we went to Uncle Ziliang's room for practice.

Did you see the big bucket??? We could not manage to borrow a big drum from the Taiwan side but we need it for the effect for the thunder sound within the play. Thus i suddenly thought of STOMP concept. and tada....Junhao and Uncle Thiam found this big bucket in the hotel. It was nice of the hotel to lend us too though it was kinda weird.

Not only its light weight, it can hold many items too!!!

After practice for the whole morning, we had lunch.I had always liked the way their packet meals are presented.Yum yum...

After lunch,we accompanied Ailian to one of the music shops to buy her pipa bag and headed back to rest. Was feeling tired eh...At about 5pm, we headed to our performance venue.

Upon reaching, we had our early dinner...

As it was early,Ailian and I went around to snap snap.

We decided to play with the cow...haha...onli dia dia so good to entertain me with my nonsense and stunts...

There was a lantern festival just beside our performance venue.

After supper, we headed back to Feng Jia Night Market though its like 12+ already. Knowing the night market would close at 2am, we still went ahead. This time with more people. However some of the shops were already closed or preparing to close.

Taiwan trip. 12 feb 2009 Day 1 @ Tai Chung

Taiwan trip from 12 feb 2009 to 20 feb 2009. This trip was with Hokkien Kong Huay Siang Troupe for performances at TaiChung and Yilan. How i got involved with Hokkien Kong Huay Siang Troupe was back in 2006 where we went to Taipei for a performance. How time flies and now we are back to Taiwan once again!

Pictures taken at the Changi Airport T1 before boarding the plane. We took China Airlines and it was pretty comfortable. At least it's much better than what i expected compared to other China airlines which i took few years back.

This is Irene AKA Ailian....she's also my "diadia" which means father in hokkien. How we got affliated was back in 2006 in Taiwan where we started to re-enact the play.lolz. It was perhaps of this that bonded our friendship stronger!

Upon reaching Taoyuan International Airport, we were welcomed by Sister Lijuan from Taiwan. She was a representative from Tang Mei Yun Troupe. We were each given a "welcome snack" with bread and cakes. Check out the cute box below! It was really nice of them to take care of our stomach the moment we touched down.

From the airport, we took the coach to Tai Chung. During the bus journey, we sang (or rather THEY sang) KTV on the coach. I guess singing in Taiwan is pretty popular and it's even available on the coach. And the system is quite updated just like singing in the lounge!

With the fun and laughter, the 2.5 hour journey passed by fast.However i was feeling nausea then. We checked in at our hotel in TaiChung- Hamilton Hotel. Check out the room!!! Each of us had a double size bed to our own!!!

After dinner we headed to our performance venue. On the way there, we saw many motels called 汽车旅馆.They said the interior of the motels are usually with beautiful romantic concepts.

Its Chinese New Year!!! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

been freaking busy and tired! busy with work, meeting clients, rushing here and there for my students' performances, own performances, rehearsals for my overseas performances... and in the end, i give up on doing a good spring cleaning of my room. My study table is still a big mess!suan le ba....

I did my hair rebonding this morning...spent like 5 hrs in the saloon...luckily i went early at 830 am!!!wanted to go do my usual last minute shopping but by the time i am done with my hair, pumping petrol, washing my car it's like 3 plus already. I was really tired and hungry. Last night CC,J,JM,BT came over for MJ. I guess i lost the stamina to stay up late already or was I really tired? we started the game at 8pm and ended at almost 5am. i really cant tahan already...need more "training" lolzz...

Wanted to blog about my secondary schoolmate but didnt have the time... I woke up on Monday 12 Jan and i on my computer...which is unusual as i dont have the time to go online in the morning. I'm nt a morning person..so i would slack on my bed til it's the "time" to bath and off i go...but perhaps God wanna tell me about the news about Kaiyan...he passed on . I was shocked as i got to know the news thru facebook invitation to the wake. I got to know him since sec 1 as we take Higher Chinese lessons together with another 5 friends. the 7 of us would travel from Tampines to AMK for our lessons. He was in the CO too. he's known as "the only guy in pipa group". He's also in the AVA club which my prefect group would always work hand in hand with them. we lost contact after graduation...but i met him on the street one day few years back and from then we kept in touch thru SMS. he never fails to remember my birthday...now that he's gone,i do hope he find his peace. hopefully he would meet my godfather there too.

The loss of my godfather and Kaiyan made me realise alot of things. Most importantly, i learnt how to appreciate and cherish my friends and family better. never know wad would happen the next day. So remember, when i call u all out for a kopi or meal, dun reject me ah...I'll try to blog as often as i can so that i can always roll back to memories... I would pen down my thoughts in a diary too to leave messages to my closer ones....

alrite,back to the festive mood...we had a wonderful reunion meal... steamboat with alot of yummy ingredients....i bought the live prawns...super fresh and slurp. Mum cooked pepper crab and my favourite once in a year- Dong Gu Fa Cai(mushroom). I opened up the Abalone ...haha...yum yum...

Many activities lining up for the next few days and weeks...Usual visiting on the 1st day of CNY. would try to "clear" the visiting of my families on this day. 2nd day would be with my friends' house visiting.would go our first station at uncle suqing place and we'll plan from there whose house to go to... 3rd day to Friday would be work as usual and rehearsals. Friday having performance at Raffles with the President Nathan as the GOH. then Sat going colleague;s and boss house...Sunday still planning...should be Louis's place and gathering wif the gang.and very soon i would be flying off to taiwan!!! sooo looking forward to it...

Half a month of 2009 is gone! how time really pass....

the start of the year wasnt a pleasant one i would say. on 1st Jan, Dad was hospitalised due to a bad cut on his finger. and it's still not fully recovered. kinda gross though and i don't even dare to take a glance at it. Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. it could be worse...

6 Jan 2009 was my cousin's wedding. Congrats to Ah yan and i really wish both herself and her husband will have a blissful marriage. On the wedding, i got to meet my elder cousin Ah Ying whom i have not met for years...glad that she's doing fine.

My godfather passed on on 7 January 530am.it was quite a sudden one. From the moment he was hospitalised, i had a bad feeling. i delayed til after Ah yan wedding before i visit him at the hospital. It was worse than i expected to be. the reason for my delay was becoz i dun wanna 'clash" with my cousin's wedding. After visiting him, my parents and I went back home. i dozed off while watching TV and forgot to take off my lens. But wad woke me up was a loud long buzzing sound in my ears. I took a look at my HP. time 5.36 am. then The phone rang. my godmother called to announce the bad news. After which we were all busy preparing for the wake til Sunday 10 feb.

It was "interesting" to find out so much more about my godfather from my sister and brother which we were distanced for few years. In fact, my godfather's death taught me many lessons though we may not be really really close.many lessons about life which is so simple yet many may somehow take it lightly or for granted. one very simple example is Whenever a friend or someone asks you out for a meal or just a cup of coffee, be open to it. u'll never know when's the very last meal or outing with someone would be. for this, i regret not fulfiling my promise.

Been trying to settle down my timetable n such. Till now it's still quite a mess. with performances coming up n festive seasons around the corner. hopefully it will get through soon.

I'll be going Taiwan in feb. 12feb to 20 feb. be going to taichung, yilan and taipei. would be going with my troupe and stacey would come over to meet me on the 16 th in Taipei. feeling broke.shucks. time to RUN!!!!

been sometime i blogged...been preparing myself for the Newyear.setting my mind right for the New Year. doing my planning and goals.too many things that i wanna do. and i'm kinda confused on wad i want. still sorting my thoughts but i believe i will achieve wad i wan next year. juz wanna be busy and at the same time enjoy myself!

Recently I keep thinking that life's short.and that we should really slow down our pace at times. You'll never know wads gonna happen next.

Went shopping at orchard yesterday. i parked my car at centrepoint and walked to paragon,fareast, isetan @ shaw towers, Ck tangs, Wisma, Taka. woohoo...it was indeed tiring! i wonder how i walked home from Orchard road to my place with Walter last time.Went wif stacey n flora. We went in a few boutiques...and without fail i would walk into my Burberry boutiques whenever i see it! lolz... i have a few things to get in mind like a document bag for my work, watch, clothes etc. my priority is to get a bag. i dunno when i would splurge on myself on a branded bag. i somehow couldn't do it straight away. very contradicting, i felt i aint brand conscious, but i would want something good quality which somehow would link to the brand.

Last year i bought 2 ralph polo tee, though i was dying to get the burberry's one. it was too expensive to get the burberry's. but wa la!!! there's a sale at the taka outlet!!! i bought 1 polo tee from there....

back to my bag issue, i guess i would get the CK one and perhaps i could get another nice minibag rather than get the Burberry one. any sponsors???? lolz...

i was 26 on 26. yup.. another year older. celebrated on the 25th night with a group of wonderful friends.though it turned out a bit chaotic i still enjoyed myself. i let go of who i am.

deep down i felt upset too. but then i gained more i realised. I realised how my friends loved me. even my bro, HQ. thanks bro. i am really touched when u called. i went out with adele and she mentioned to me on treating me a meal. i am really touched. brother, thank u!

i was upset. the feeling to go thru a meal which is supposed to be happy,and yet i had to suppress all my feelings, thinking it was just nutting. u know wad? it's the worse meal of my life. On the ferry ride...

During the ride, we saw a couple who is damn funny. *bish bish* lolz....we tried our best not to laugh too loud.but then still we couldn't help it. hahahaha...we tried to take picture of them too... =)

After we reached the Waterfront Ferry terminal at Batam,we took the resort shuttle service to the resort. It's like less than a minute ride away!

At the lobby waiting for check in. We were there about 10+am and we gotta wait til 3 pm.So we decided to take the free shuttle out to town. The staff at resort are all well trained and gives every one a verywarm welcome. They served us a welcome drink with their homemade cookies.They teach people to line dance too!The only thing was the weather...it's drizzling!

We went over to Nagoya Hill Shopping.Basically the whole shopping centre sells similar stuff. Imitation branded goods and perfumes. Food is very very cheap there. but not the resort la..lolz.We went to try the Ayam penyet. Damn nice!!! its really nice and cheap.*no horse run* haha...It's less than SGD$8.For all the stuff we ordered!

After the shopping we went back to the resort for check in.

these are the villas for the Spa treatment. Its a pity that i forgot to bring my camera to snap. they have the jacuzzi,cold plunge and sauna. Within each villa there's the steam bath too. but then the bath and shower is "opened" as in there's no door or anything. very suitable for couples going there. haha...

We had BBQ / Steamboat for dinner. haiz forgot to take pictures too.The staff would go around to sing songs. They sang Xiao Wei to us. lolz...After dinner,we basically nua in the room and we slept early! haha...its a good trip of rest and relax.

Day2- Rise and shine. After taking breakfast we took a stroll...and went back to the room and nua. I practically doze off everytime i lay on the bed. haha...recovering the amount of sleep i lacked for the past months...

Our plans for Day2 were juz to relax.we did the free massage at 2pm. then went back to resort and slack again. then til 6pm,we went for another 3 hours Spa/Massage/Scrub/bath treatment. woohoo...alot of funny incidents there. It's too intimate to disclose here. But i wont mind sharing if you wanna know. haha...We ordered room service. They serve nice pasta and pizza. The owner is an Aussie if i am not wrong. Perhaps this is y the western dishes are nicer at the resort.

After eating,we pack a bit of stuff and looked for the Zzz monster. Sleep sleep sleep!Day 3 rise & shine

My Sunday was just spent away just like that....I'm tired. Yet when i tink back, i did nutting much today.

Yesterday went to teach at JPS,then met up wif airen for lunch at Minoru. After that i went to Causewaypoint to look for the "gun" for Iris wedding. then proceeded for the performance at MarsilingCC.

Met up wif adelyn n erzi for a drink at the Rail Mall. had Redwine at the Denise. I'm not much of a red wine drinker and i always felt sleepy after it. lolz. reached hme abt 2+ and showered. Was so tired but then gotta wait for my hair to dry up.

Woke up at 11 and went to help my parents run some errands. then went to Parkway wif my mum n baby. wanted to go for foot massage but was really tired. But yet, i dun feel like slping. Tis sucks.... Alot of thoughts going through my mind.

I guess i really need to fill up my time.Everytime when i finally get to rest, i will think of nonsensical stuff. It ain't healthy at all....maybe i should be more "hiong" and just do wadever i want.

i've finally cleared all my assignments. all my students cleared their exams...hopefully they did well. so far feedbacks have been good.

today's a busy busy day.Met up with Iris for lunch at Sakae. discussed her wedding details then proceed to her new place to meet up with her hubby n the interior designer. then we went to balestier to choose the lightings. i decided to get some shopping done while the couple go get their appliances as i tot appliances should be quite "standard". lolz.but i was wrong. My super blur cocked fren have weird taste which differs from me and her hubby. Her hubby called and said tat he regretted not having me there. lolz...damn funny la. after tat met up with them again with the "brothers" to do a briefing. Then the guys went for their bachelors nite while the 2 of us went for chat.

I bought quite a lot of stuff actually...spent like almost 300+ already. But shiok. i need retail therapy after the busy period for past few months.

i was at PS doing some shopping and upon leaving to the carpark,i met "beany" with a gal. tis feeling juz sux. of all place, i met them in the lift. tat few moments of awkwardness. the few moments of pretendence (of nt knowing each other). it juz sucks!

anyway it's over. but a thought came to me, or rather it had been going on in my mind...am i able to face the reality if one day *** announce abt his wedding. i seriously dun tink i can accept it.....

We took a coach at night from Kovan.....inside the coach........

what is my mum doing??? duh...After the 2customs...all shag and rested until the stopover at Yong Peng. i met Jackson and Sze Jun's mum there....wad a small small world! We reached Genting at about 430 am only to realise that we can only check in at 11am. WTF! so we left our luggage with the concierge. We went to the casino while the rest(under21) plus my mum n baby went to Mcdonald for meal. time past fast when we were in casino.lolz...brought my dad around the casino as he haven been to Genting for quite a while already. The last time he went, the jackpot machine were still using the coin slots! talk about technology.....below pictures taken at the Mcdonald where we had our breakfast.

After this,we went to collect our luggage and checked in.as the coach ride wasnt that comfortable i guess most of us didnt get to rest well. so everyone so tired and rested.Intended to meet in early evening for dinner. But then.....my parents and 3rd aunt family wanted to go lunch.i thought i could take a rest...but baby insisted i go along....so we went to the food court to have lunch. We had Thai food....it was yummy!After a nice meal, we went shopping around...

Shiok...after tat i went to the Casino.actually is beri tiring coz i didnt really get to rest.

The next day our parents (my parents,lilian aunt n uncle, Doris aunt n uncle,gilbert parents) went for breakfast while we 'kids" mui at the room.they "da pao" for us.woo hoo....should have taken pics of what they manage to take from the buffet. we machiam have buffet in my room. they beri power!i was awakened of course by the crowd in my room.lolz....took my bath and we ( lilian aunt, stacey,me,marwin,gilbert,alan,baby) set off for the theme park.this time more "special" coz we played the indoor one only. Usually is the outdoor one but this time becoz of baby we entertained him. some of the rides were damn mui.

its like 3 am in the morning! and guess what? there's road construction at my place right now at this freaking time! I'm stayin on the 12th level and i find it noisy lor! all the drilling and stuff.

and i called to police. they told me that it is alrite to have road construction at this time if they have the permit authorised. finally i got rid of my mattress! I am just so not willing to spend money on furnitures ... haha.with a dad in the carpentry line, y would i wanna think abt getting furnitures rite? lolz...tat includes my mattress....

i got my very first mattress ...i think in primary 2 or 3. and i used it until now hor...beri lasting rite? somehow some of the spring went thru the layers and is like coming out soon...and it's givingme a backache. i am used to sleeping on harder mattress...so when my mattress is "soft" my back cant seemed to take it. i keep getting aches on the neck too....

thanks to mum who sponsored my mattress....yea! but then..i sponsored the trip to genting...sama sama la....

last weekend was really tiring! Been really busy with tuition assignments these days as it's exam period...gonna be packed all the way til end of OCT. just few weeks to go...this is the first time i felt soooo tired that i am so looking forward to the Msia trip on 16-19. I'm leaving on 16 nite...it's during the PSLE marking days. i really am so freaking tired that i really need a break!

Yesterday morning went to give tuition til about 2. then headed to Heartland to shop around and get cupwalker....tsktsk...after which i went over to my aunt's place for MJ. woohoo....won $55.

also watched the F1 race there...impressive. in my opinion, to have the race set up in Singapore post a great challenger for the racers. Considering the width and angles of the roads in additional to the "smoothness" of our roads. Anyway, it was a great pity for Massa on the incident. It was such a freaking stupid mistake on the misleading "greenlight " signal.

reached home about 10+pm. watched shows til 1 plus. seemed like i have gotten used to sleeping earlier and getting up early also. hmm....wonder if it's better...haha...I'm hoping the next few weeks would pass soon....all my students gonna have their exams. big big headache...3 more weeks and it would be over...lol... then i can really take a good break. hoho...

I've taken up another school's percussion team which pays good. =) i guess i need to sit down and start my 2009 plans to balance my insurance and teachings. stress!

Went to Auston's Steak for dinner last week. Been wanting to try it for some time as i always see long queues.

The mushroom soup. It's pretty good...i'll give like 7.5/10.

I ordered the sirloin steak. i would say it's pretty tender. I liked the potato salad side dish...

Stacey ordered the Chicken with sausages. well,i felt that the chicken is too dry. Sausage pretty normal.

Overall the price is pretty alrite.but then...it's the kind of place where i'll go once in a while. Would prefer E Blackboard still. even better then botak Jones.

been busy ... really busy... been wanting to blog. but everytime i think of uploading and arranging the pictures.... i'll just shut down my laptop and zzzz... lolz

basically been busy with work...esp with the recent economic issues. I've also started to teach CO in one of the schools. going to start another one soon... i dunno if this is the track i wanted. definitely with interest,but...there's something deep down in me that is resisting. anyway, just follow my heart.

Recently subscribed to SCV under a promotion. anyway it was a funny deal with the salesman la...currently i have the whole channels under SCV. i dunno why la...but i only subscriped to only 3 basic groups and 2 chinese star movies. its pretty cheap.about 20 a mth only. but i'm enjoying lots more rite nw... =)

had a relaxing sunday. woke up at 9 and washed up. watched one of my favourite show - doraemon. lolz. after tat went to an assignment followed by an appt. came back home abt 2 plus. had a nice lunch (too bad no pic). my parents and I went to the food fair at Suntec. I bought the Korean rice cake and my mum cooked it. yummy yummy....it tasted like the Chinese rice cake.just tat it's of different shape and more QQ.
talking about the food fair, i think this year aint as great. perhaps the stalls there are more or less the same as the previous fair. the crowd aint much too. but i was pretty interested in the mulberry jam which can be used to add in beverages. they demonstrated the different ways to make the beverages which is said to help lower cholestrol,better sleep, better circulation blah blah blah blah.....i had a taste and found it quite nice. i didnt buy on the spot....but after i went back home,i felt my digestion gets better. i shit damn lot...haha...(i know its beri er xin)

i sent my parents to CHIJMES in the evening to attend my cousin or aunt's wedding. i seriously dunno how she is related to me. i tink it's my aunt's wedding coz it's my dad's aunt's daughter. meaning it's my dad's cousin. so weird rite? i didn't want to attend coz i'll get the same questions every time. apparently my dad's side relatives (in fact the gals) seemed to get married to nonSingaporean. one cousin to a Jewish. another aunt to Aussie. another to caucasian. maybe i'll get attached to some Bangla...haha...scare the whole shit to my relatives...hoho.... after dropping off them, i went to Suntec to get the Mulberry jam. damage done - $70 for 5kg.

hopefully it will have good effects. will recommend to you guys if it works!

i woke up today (29 aug)feeling very down. i had a sad dream...i dreamt that for some reason i would be migrating to UK. and the feeling of leaving my friends and family just felt so yucky. and of coz the worse part was when i saw U in my dreams.i couldnt control myself and cried and cried. i didn't wana let you go. somehow u knew it....and came the perfect kiss....

then i woke up. wtf.

anyway, after i settled my "feelings", i felt much better. in fact i was smiling to myself as i went for my appt. lolz

silly dream.

anyway,i've been really busy....i meant really really busy.i dunno when but i seemed to hurt my knee. cant really squat. went to the foot reflex on last thurs but it only seem to help jus a slight bit. sooo looking forward to sunday to go wif airen for the foot spa n massage....woohoo...

my legs are aching...my back shoulders too... i guess age's really catching up. After these 3 days at the NUS bazaar and tuitions i am so freaking tired! not mentally but physically. i need a good foot reflexology badly.kinda miss the one in Taipei though it was freaking pain.

Got to meet new friends at the NUS bazaar. and of coz some "old" frenz like Jay from Emitasia and guess wad? i say Jiwei! i actually saw him and find him familiar since the first day.But it really didn't cross my mind that it would be him.thought it was someone who juz kinda look alike...until today,he called me and "verified" our identities. wad a small world.

talk about small world,i applied for credit card from Citi and i tink they misplaced my income taz assessment and a lady called me to follow up on that.her name was Kareen. as she was hanging up,i suddenly strike a conversation and asked her if she was from my Sec sch. and she said YES! OMG! i neber get to talk to her in sec sch coz we were of different lengths as in i was the "white" while she was the "black". I was the prefect and she belonged to the "black" group which always kena from the prefects and discipline group. She was a big bully in sch...hoho... to tink the world is so small!

after today's work i went to Hougang Mall to have dinner with my cousin and also look for printer. I have been sourcing around for printer these days and i kinda of deciding between the Canon or HP one. similar functions. Canon - $299. HP- $279. so today i went to have the final look. i stepped to Harvey and they only had the Canon one which i also kinda preferred over the HP. so i decided to go to Challenger to see if the price is more attractive. The trip to Challenger was irritating! all becoz of the stupid salesstaff! true indeed i was there on Monday to take a look. So he approached me and said that he saw me 2 days ago. (he wasnt the one who served me then. but as salesperson he prob think i am coming back to do the purchase). He STRONGLY recommended the HP one. and i voiced out that i wan to see the price for the Canon one. He kept recommending the HP one in a not so ethical way by saying the Canon one nt as gd and such. but the specs is the SAME! the worst that he did was when i said i still prefer the Canon one, he gave me a look. the irritating look that says :"huh? Canon no gd still take"

WTF! i guess customer have their rights and choices rite? i told him straight that Canon in Challenger only 1 year warranty. HP promotion tats y gt 2 years warranty. Since same price as Harvey,i shall go Harvey to but the Canon one coz they give 2 yr warranty. Also if i decide to get the HP one i shall order online instead of buying at Challenger! and i walked off. never seen a salesperson like this. I will definitely go back and irritate him!

becoz of him i lost the mood to get the printer also....heck!

not feeling too good rite nw...had a flu 2 days ago. self medicated. cured the flu but came the rest.the usuals. went to the clinic and it ain't open. wtf! i seldom wanna "donate" money to my family doctor and juz when i decided i need to it didn't welcome me.
Next few days is gonna be busy for me... all the way til next week. having a bazaar at NUS next week. pray everything's going to be fine.

recently one of my friend...hmm or i would say pub friend, passed away. She's the lady boss of the pub that me n my frenz frequent. very shocking. she died in China while having a holiday. Still investigating but suspected was due to blood pressure. i guess her husband must be very sad. he recently closed down his pub and next this happened. her name's Tracy. she is a very wild and fun woman. she can be very direct and blunt. but on the other hand,i admire for who she is. If she dun like you,she'll show it right in front of you. She's someone who doesnt hide her feelings.even when she's down,she aint ashame to shed tears in front of you too. all and all are juz memories now. i really hope she'll rest in peace. and i hope her husband,Peter and her family will be strong to pull this over.

past dayssssssss had been busy busy busy..... and i "finally" fell sick...down wif a flu. quite bad....

as mentioned was busy wif work... work work work... i've recently took up some tuition assignments to fill up my time during the day time. realised i had been slacking too much for past 1 year. at least i'll be doing something in the day time to make me move around then to sit around and do nothing. It's interesting going back to be a tutor.

Taught tuition while i was in poly and upon graduation i stopped.can u imagine tat time i was 18 years old and i was doing alrite with my tuition kids... Guess wad? one of the parent find me tooooooo young to be a teacher now.so nonsense. anyway i know wad i am capable of when i decide to take on an assignment. It's interesting how i looked at things are now....i realised i dun really work for money. but more towards contributing back to the society. not that tuition is something wonderful but it gives sense of satisfaction when u see improvements in their grades. There's more than juz teaching and receiving paychecks. i get to see the different families style. really interesting....hoho....i slowly taking up foreign assignments like koreans, china, arabs...i guess i wont mind taking up assignments in homes or orphanages...

my insurance side is doing fine....thanks bro for your support ah! lolz.... amazing thing abt insurance line is.....there's nothing better than insurance. in terms of remuneration and flexible timings.....splendid!

these 2 days weather is terrible. so humid and hot.

went to Suntec today for the Maple event. So pissed! anyway it's hard to blog out wad happened there but i am really pissed with the playpark section's staff. eeeeeeek!!!!

i do think that Asiasoft is damn bloody smart. Thru the stupid PPC,they had earned so much. OMG! Esp when the auction event....cant believe the gamers have tat much cards. minimum per card is about $10.30. and u see stacks n stacks of PPC these gamers earned. I thought my cousin was terrible till today when i saw lagi worse.....1000 pcs of PPC would come to an amount of $10300. and it's just MAPLE PPC. imagine u add others like CABAL, AUDITION PPC, OMFG! Asiasoft is indeed smart.

They captivate not the small kids but the "older" ppl too. Don't think these games are just for those pri and sec kids....u see youngsters like my age or even older ppl there going crazy.

I'm watching this show - LOVE AT HARVARD. very nice!

Today seemed a nice day for me. Everything went on quite well

woke up early tis morning...guess i am used to getting up at 8+ nowadays ever since tat stupid incident last 2 weeks. Anyway,was slacking at home and supposed to meet zw for lunch but kena aeroplane til late afternn. So i slacked at home. Decide to browse for some job openings and sent over a mail. Within 30 mins i received a call and was offered an interview. Hmm...now having dilema coz i dunno if i can retain my insurance side at the same time. My plan is to find another job for the next few months to cover abit of my loss. Anyway, heck...juz go and give it a try. Hopefully the remuneration will be good. If i could get a 5-10k i would leave after 2 mths and go back to concentrate on my insurance side. Yet i am thinking on the other hand,if i worked extra hard i would have earned this amount at the insurance side too. But i'm so down to do sales right now. But then again,i have a closing appointment tomorrow!! woohoo...somemore it's a super cold client. haha...my first expat to be honest.

Went for a car wash finally and pumped expensive petrol then picked up zw. We went to parkway parade. Indeed a happy day coz i was complaining on the damage on my previous blog of my cashcard. Guess wad? I received a call from UOB Parkway saying that my cashcard was retain by the ATM. hoho...i forgot to take after topping it up. Actually i dun understand y they must issue the receipt before the cashcard comes out. It should be reversed rite?? Lucky for me no one was behind the queue for that ATM. And when i reached parkway UOB it's off their closing hours but luckily they let me in to take my cashcard! Damaged reduced.

Went Yakun to talk rubbish and serious business with zw. after that head to office to prepare for my documents for tmr appt.

Went for rehearsal at TECC. After tat went to pick my cousin and head to airport to fetch my aunty. At the airport we had this:

today is a busy day i would say....left home at 730am! haven been going out so early for dunno how long already...

my team had a presentation at NUS. glad that everything went on smoothly,including my presentation. I was pretty nervous at first but i managed to calm down and get it over. but the youngsters at NUS really made me feel i'm like "older".

After the presentation we went to Singapore Poly FC6 for lunch! hoho....back to my lao di fang of 3 years. the chicken rice still taste the same!yum yum...

then we headed to Kallang leisurepark. we went for bowling...then followed by a movie - Zohan.

it was fun and all....

After which i went to meet my parents for dinner at parkway.my suayness kicks in...after a damage dinner of $80,i went to top up my cashcard-$20. then we went to Giant to do some grocery shopping. i accidentally kick into the wheels of the trolley and hurt my last nail. then my tummy aches so i went toilet...then i decide to browse for some dvds. Upon reaching the carpark, i realise my cash card is missing! WTF! i remember putting it at my back pocket of my jeans. i dunno how i lost it...cant be toilet coz i would have noticed it then.

Inside total value was close to $30. urgh...further damage! damn. i search everywhere and i juz cant find my cashcard! no choice, i went to purchase a new cashcard which looks damn ugly. cost me $5 juz to get the stupid cashcard! darn!

while i was trying hard to save up money, the other hand keeps losing it.eeeeeee....yucks!
